Education Minister Shahfat Mahmoud said the committee had agreed to close all
educational institutions, from schools to universities, until July 15. He said
that the ninth, tenth, eleventh, and twelfth-grade students in Pakistan
appeared in the council exams, and it was decided to upgrade the tenth and
twelfth-grade students on the basis of their results in the ninth and eleventh
grades, respectively.
The minister said that the Federal Ministry of Education is
already holding consultations with regional education ministers.
He said: "Ministers of education had an in-depth discussion on 2 problems, 1st is that the cancellation of exams associates degreed second is an extension of the closure of institutes."
He said that all governments and regional councils are on
the same page and a new screening policy will be implemented across the
country.
In response to a question about whether the promotion of the
tenth and twelfth-grade students on the basis of the results of the previous
exams would not be unjust to them as is the case in the majority cases, the
students got more degrees in the tenth and thirteenth-grade exams, and he said:
"All aspects of the presentation will be kept before Finalizing the
policy. We'll also look at statistical patterns."
Meanwhile, sources at the Federal Council for Intermediate and Secondary Education said that although the final version has not been finalized by the Ministry of Education, apparently new students from grades 9 and 11 will be given an opportunity to appear on the combined exams in Next year. Besides, those who passed Chapters 9 and 11 last year and who were eligible to appear on the Chapters 10 and 12 exams this year will be promoted based on the results of previous exams.

meeting, education ministers in the county and federal governments opposed a
June 1 educational institute and recommended that all examinations be canceled.
The education ministers referred the matter to the National Coordination
Committee.

coronavirus spread in the country, the government decided to close all
educational institutions, including schools, colleges, and universities,
