Bahrain Governorates hand out 16,000 Ramadan Meals
More meals will be distributed throughout the month
The governorates and police stations in Bahrain have so far
delivered over 16,000 Ramadan meals.
The governorates cooperated with a number of volunteers in
coordination with the national campaign.
It was launched in us by His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin
Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian and
Youth Affairs, National Security Adviser and President of the Royal
Humanitarian Foundation.
In the coming weeks, thousands of additional meals will be
distributed as part of the initiative.
The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) and the Ministry of
Interior are planning to distribute 23,000 breakfasts to quarantine facilities,
temporary shelters, and nationwide.
Volunteers across Bahrain are coming in to help those in
need right now.
Moshe Riffa offers free food for the unemployed, while Big
Texas Barbecue and Waffle House serve soups to those in need in Bahrain.
In addition, Gulf Hotel has launched a prepaid campaign that
will offer free meals to health care workers, among others.
